Chava Sobreyra is Vice President of Engineering at Torticity. He oversees engineering, product, and design, ensuring alignment from strategy through execution.

Since joining Torticity in 2020, Chava has built and scaled the engineering organization, establishing clear ownership, high standards, and a culture centered on accountability and disciplined execution. He has been instrumental in shaping the company’s hiring approach, focusing on high-agency builders who thrive in empowered teams.

Chava has led the development of Torticity’s core platform, including DockIt, CaseWise, and Brief, and is leading the company’s push to build AI-powered solutions in the legal technology space. He has helped advance an AI-first development approach across the organization, embedding AI into both product capabilities and internal workflows to improve efficiency and expand what the platform can deliver. While focused on organizational leadership, he remains closely involved in technical decision-making, contributing to system architecture, guiding design tradeoffs, and ensuring long-term scalability.

He lives in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife and two dogs. Outside of work, he plays golf and ice hockey.
